Jordan will miss the US Girls Junior Amateur this year. (Click for more).

Today Jordan shot an 80 to finish the qualifier in 19th place out of the 52 that were attempting to qualify. The top 4 earned their spots and will travel to Kentucky in July. B shot +6 on the front and +2 on the back. After paring 1 & 2, Jordan would triple 3. From then on, she did not ever really look like she was in control again over the next 5 hours. Nothing was incredibly bad, just nothing was incredibly good either. She would sink only 2 🐥 and her putter was definitely not the weapon it was in Bethpage 10 days ago.

It is hard to point to any one thing to say made it difficult. Course was definitely not easy, but Jordan has conquered much more difficult courses in the last year. The strength of the field was high, but nothing compared to all of the tour pros she was against in the US Open Qualifier last month. It was long, 6300 yards, but with her length at this point, that also did not really effect the outcome. The observation that this blogger can give you is that she was just flat. Maybe that is all there is to it…she had a bad day.

To quote our very good friend Matt Siegel when he heard how Jordan played, ”Oh well, it a long haul to greatness.” We will just leave it there.

Jordan and Super Mom drive to Boardman Ohio on Saturday for an AJGA Junior All star tournament that spans from Sunday – Wednesday. We will get updates and pictures from Julie to post.

Thats all for now. We will leave you with the few pictures we took. Thank you everyone for your support and interest in Jordan.
