Jordan arrived in Gainesville yesterday morning for the FJT University of Florida (13-15) 54 Hole Major. This will be her first Florida Golf Association Tournament. (Click for more).

The facility here is a bustling place filled with university students, all of the contestants for this weekends big event, and locals alike. Practice round yesterday taught Jordan a ton and she and Carl took copious notes to assist B with her club selection for today’s round.

We are not clear how the scoring will be handled today so here is the link that shows up in the tournament information page in case it is live. You have to scroll to the bottom as the boys are before the girls.

This is a very competitive field and the greens are rolling like glass so today promises to be an exciting game. Jordan’s t-time is 10:48 and the current temp here is 38 degrees so she will start with lots of layers that her father will be carrying by mid day when it warms into the high 60’s. Carl will be walking the course with dad for this one. We will attempt to take some photos but are sure to encounter resistance from one very stubborn dinosaur.
