Getting back to competition after almost 6 weeks was harder then Jordan had hoped. She shot a +9 for the first round and what has been her biggest asset, her driver, failed her. She was blocking all of her drives sending them to the right. She only made 8 fairways forcing her to play catch up on 10 holes. What saved her round from total disaster was her putting where she had six 1 puts. Jordan had only one birdie on the day and seven pars. The good news is that there were no holes worse then bogeys and only two 3 putts.
Tomorrow is another day and Jordan still has room to move way up the leaderboard. She will meet with Jerry at 9 tomorrow morning to work through the fix that Carl prescribed for the driver problem (he knew exactly what was wrong of course) and get to Eisenhower by noon for her 1pm T time. Thats all for now. Many thanks once again for all of the texts, emails, and comments.

Nice finish!
