Jordan finishes the UHY AJGA Junior at Burning Tree tied for 24th place with a 79. (Click for details and pics)

Tournament came to close today after a long and hot week at Burning Tree. Front nine saw B finish with a one over par 37 including two birdies. The back was more complicated. Jordan parred 10, then lost her ball on 11. Drive flew toward an outcropping of rock and ricocheted god knows where. Despite everyone’s best efforts that beautiful white ball with 33 and a purple dinosaur on it chose to hide. Jerry who came to watch even scaled the wall in his efforts without success. Jordan had to re-T the ball and sunk it in 5 shots which would have been par but she had to add on 2 strokes for the original lost ball and ended up with a double bogey. She tried to shake it off for the next two holes but bogeyed both with 3 putts. Meanwhile, Sophie in her group got a hole in one on 12 which is always fun to see though we would have enjoyed it much more had it come off of Jordans drive of course.

Hole 14 was another golf story….Second shot ended up in a green side bunker. B hits it out of the sand perfectly and it hits the flag and bounces back into the sand box. She then hits again nicely out of the sand and hits the flag a second time. What are the odds? If she tried to hit it 100 times not sure she could do it once but she does it twice in a row out of the sand. Anyway, she then two putts to card her second double bogey.

Great recovery on 15 where she was inches short of an Eagle. She ended with a birdie and then went on to par 16 and 17 and bogey 18.

Moving on…. Next stop on the tour for TyrannosaurusB will be the the AJGA Junior All Star at Shirkey in Richmond Missouri beginning on Monday. Tournament information is below. This tournament is an AJGA event for golfers 15 and under unlike the Open she just finished with people up to 19. We will update you from there on Sunday when we know the T time for Monday’s practice round. Again, thank you for all of the support!
