The round started out strong with a plus 2 after nine holes. The back was not as good. Jordan carded both a triple bogey and a double as well as a bogey to go 6 over on the back ending the round with an 80. One bit of terribly bad luck on 13 (what would become the triple) when Jordan drove the ball beautifully into the center of the fairway and hit the 150 yard marker sending the ball ricocheting what would have been her best drive of the day into the woods as a lost ball.
Certainly an improvement from yesterday, but not up to her first two rounds of 75 (in the qualifier) and 78 on day one. Jordan ended the tournament tied for 26th place. It was trial by fire and one hell of an introduction to the AJGA…Welcome to the majors kid!
