Jordan scored a 5 over 77 today to end in 6th place after the 54 hole tournament, her very first. The field of sixty two 13 & 14 year old girls came from all over the world. Scores over the three days were 75/77/77. Today’s round included one triple and one double and the highlight was the last 8 holes were bogey free. In the end, when the statistics were posted, Jordan had the second highest number of pars for the tournament at 37 only bested by the winner at 40. Jordan’s last putt sunk on the 18th hole just as the lightning horn blew clearing the course for over 90 minutes.
Tonight she travels home for 36 hours of RR and her mother doing 12 days worth of laundry to prepare her for the next stop, a qualifier that she was accepted into for the AJGA Junior at Toftrees in State College PA. She and 14 others will compete for three spots in the three day 54 hole tournament that begins on Tuesday. We will post the live leaderboard and T time for that on Sunday night. Again, and we can’t say this enough, thank you for all of the comments, texts, support and love. As most of you know, this was never on our radar and sharing this makes it fun for us.
