Day one ends with a 4 way tie for 4th Place for Jordan with a 7 over 77. She is two strokes behind 2nd place and 6 out of the lead.

She had a very exciting and up and down back nine with back to back birdies on 14 & 15 that put her at plus three. 16 turned out to be her nemesis with the only double bogey on her card for the day.

Today’s round was also the local qualifier for the Norah Begay III Championship. Top five qualified. We believe because one of her opponents is too old and one too young Jordan qualified. Now she will go on to the Regional qualifier later in the summer and if she makes it there will play in the 54 hole championship that will air on the Golf Channel during a 2 hour broadcast. That is all the news today. We will see how tomorrow goes.
